Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah tiga orang validator yang terdiri dari dua orang dosen jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNP dan satu orang guru beserta 27 peserta didik kelas X SMAN 8 Padang. Sedangkan objek penelitian adalah media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi <em>Sparkol Videoscribe</em> tentang materi keanekaragaman hayati.</p> <p>Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka telah dihasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi <em>Sparkol Videoscribe</em> pada materi keanekaragaman hayati untuk SMA yang valid dan praktis. Hasil validitas yang diperoleh adalah 81,1% dengan kriteria valid, sedangkan nilai praktikalitas oleh siswa dan guru berturut-turut adalah 84,25% dan 82,53% dengan kriteria praktis. The number of complaints experienced by students has led us to conduct research aimed at analyzing how efficient online lectures are amid the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of the research it is known that the virtual learning model is effective to be applied in educational statistics learning, thus the virtual learning model using an application can be applied to all material that is in accordance with the learning steps in educational statistics material. This paper is a literature review of research articles. This review uses an evaluation method that begins with the research question "How Effective is Online Statistics Learning?". Search for articles via Google Scholar, Google, Cendikita Journal, with keywords used in the Effectiveness of Statistics Learning. The criteria for the articles used are published in the last 5 years, namely from 2018 to 2022, the journal has a title and content that is in accordance with the research objectives, full text, and links to statistics learning. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 8 Padang. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental with a population of 62 people and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of samples for this study. There are 31 students of XI Computer Network Engineering 1 which is an experimental class, and 31 students of XI Computer Network Engineering 2 which is a control class. The hypothesis of this study was conducted to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who use latency-based active learning methods are higher than students who use traditional methods in Class XI Network Service Engineering subjects. To see the effect of applying the waiting time type of active learning method on learning outcomes, a manual hypothesis test was carried out. The test criteria are if T count > T table at = 5% then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted and vice versa. Based on the results of research conducted, the average value of the experimental class using the mind mapping learning method, namely class XI TKJ 1, obtained an average value of 78.207, and the control class using conventional learning, namely class XI TKJ 2, obtained an average of 69,750. So the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class with a difference of 8.457.
